'Superb...imagination oozing from every pore'

The Londonist

The Night Kitchen Cabaret is a cult London theatre series which began in 2007. Each episode is set in a liminal east end kitchen where Ruby, a Dickensian MC, runs a cabaret show from her kitchen table. Things rarely go according to plan but whether it's defeating a child-eating monster, whispering out a deadly virus or healing the heart of a traffic warden, Ruby usually gets the job done, and her family of delinquent street urchins, neo-pagan launderesses, singing pirates, dancing private-eyes, and dead juggling great uncles always back her up. Each episode is a surreal and compelling tale featuring outstanding performers from the worlds of theatre, circus, music and dance.
